AI-native agency: what does that actually mean?
AI is not a service we sell. It's a tool we use at every stage to design, build and maintain. Here's what changes.
We're often asked what 'AI-native agency' means. The short answer: we use AI at every step of the process — not to sell it as a feature, but to move faster, go further and deliver more precisely than traditional agencies.
The longer answer comes down to four concrete points, measured across 17 projects delivered since launch.
1. Design: from brief to design system in 48 hours
A client brief feeds into a pipeline that automatically generates a BRAND.json (palette, typography, voice, anti-patterns), a DESIGN.md (technical rules) and three distinct visual directions. We don't show a Figma wireframe — we show a working site in 48 hours.
Result: the client chooses with their eyes, not their imagination. Creative back-and-forth on my last briefs has run 2 rounds, not the 5-7 I hear about from past agency clients.
2. Build: tests, infrastructure and code in parallel
While a human codes the main feature, AI agents work in parallel on the test suite, documentation, accessibility audit, GDPR compliance and performance optimisation. Not in sequence — simultaneously.

3. Maintenance: detecting issues before the client does
Every site under an active maintenance plan is connected to a monitoring stack that watches for errors, slowdowns, visual regressions and dependency vulnerabilities. Most of the time, the fix is already pushed before you'd notice — the monitoring stack pages me before it pages you.
4. What this means for the client

- Documentation and tests delivered by default, not as add-ons
What AI-native doesn't mean
Important: we never use AI-generated stock images in deliverables. No holographic brains, no robot-human handshakes, no neon 'AI-style' gradients. The DESIGN.md for every project explicitly bans this visual vocabulary.
AI lives in our internal tooling. The final output is crafted by humans who care about typography and hate genericisation.
